Who we are

A multigenerational Chinese church in the heart of Calgary

Mountainview Grace is a primarily English-speaking Chinese congregation, with people from every generation and many different stages of faith.

Many in our community are second-generation young families and emerging leaders. Together we are becoming passionate followers of Jesus who worship joyfully, extend grace, sow hope, and build relationships through which lives can be transformed.

Our beliefs

The good news of the Triune God

We worship the one eternal God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created and sustains all things and is gathering a people who will glorify him forever.

  • Jesus Christ became human, died for our reconciliation, and rose in victory over sin and death
  • The Holy Spirit calls people to faith and empowers the church to follow Jesus
  • Believers confess Christ, receive baptism, and share in the Lord’s Supper
  • We live under the guidance of Scripture and await Christ’s return and eternal reign

We are part of the Mennonite Brethren family of churches and follow the MB Confession of Faith. It expresses our shared commitment to Scripture, salvation through Jesus, the church as a family of disciples, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, peace, service, and faithful witness.
